We’re in for a fun east vs west clash in the NBA nightcap as the Los Angeles Clippers travels to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.

Milwaukee is entering a five-game winning streak and will look to extend his 21-4 record at home.

The Clippers are 15-14 on the road this season. They will be without John Wall for this matchup, but other than that they are going into this contest healthy.

They’ve won seven of their last 10 but find themselves four-point underdogs against the Bucks.

The conversation: (+315)

  • Jrue Holiday Over 6.5 assists (+100)
  • Paul George under 2.5 made 3-point shots (+124)

Jrue Holiday Over 6.5 assists (+100)

Milwaukee’s Jrue Holiday has put up big numbers in his last two duels against the Clippers. He’s averaged a double-double — 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 10 assists on just over 63% shots from the floor.

If you look at those two games, the Clippers were without Paul George at the first meeting and without George and Kawhi Leonard at the last game.

This makes things a lot harder on holiday, especially since his shot rate has dropped in recent games.

Expect Holiday to play much more of the go-between role in this spot, and expect him to post big minutes and have a big impact in orchestrating the Bucks’ offense.

Paul George under 2.5 made 3-point shots (+124)

The Bucks have been great on both sides of the field, especially on defense as they rank in the top 10 in most statistical categories.

They are first in opponent’s effective field goal percentage, third in opponent’s shooting percentage, and eighth in opponent’s percentage with 3 points.

If you look at George’s last two games against the Bucks, he hasn’t put up big numbers, especially in the last meeting when he went 2-of-10 from beyond the arc.

Overall, since returning from injury on Jan. 17, he has only surpassed the seeded total of 2.5 3-pointers three times in seven games.

While the tries are there, the consistency isn’t there, and now when you factor in a matchup against a strong defense, there seems to be plenty of value backing the under.
